When making a vinyl , the master disk which cuts the original sound uses the material so-called lacquer board composed of a combination of thin aluminum plate and lacquer. We processed this lacquer board and released it as an under seat.
Because it has the same structure as the master of vinyl, it have a high affinity with the vinyl. First of all, this will reduce the vibration of the platter and enhance quietness.
Secondly, AP-UD1 reproduces a more realistic tone by moderate hardness and repulsion improving the conduction characteristics to the stylus as compared with rubber sheets etc. AP-UD1 is also supplied with the super class turntable system GMP-8000 as standard equipment.
The surface of the plate is processed twice by sandblast. In the first time, sand particles are blown and scraped off. The second time, we give more detailed surface treatment spraying a vinyl tip.
