JUNONE is Triode’s premium brand, born from a passionate desire to pursue truly exceptional sound without compromise or cost constraints. The inaugural model, the vacuum tube preamplifier JUNONE Reference One, was launched in 2014. This was followed by the release of the vacuum tube integrated amplifier JUNONE 845S in 2020. The model presented here is the successor to the acclaimed JUNONE 845S.
While preserving the powerful drive capability of the renowned 845 vacuum tube, this new model incorporates advanced technologies such as the high-fidelity electronic volume control first introduced in our EVOLUTION integrated amplifier. We have also developed a new chassis that reconsiders dimensions and layout to optimize performance. These innovations enable the shortest possible signal paths and a meticulously designed internal layout that minimizes signal interference, delivering an ideal listening environment.
22W + 22W Output from 845 Tubes in Pure Class A Single-Ended Design
This integrated amplifier features an all-triode configuration: 12AU7 tubes in the input stage, PSVANE WE300B in the driver stage, and 845 tubes in the output stage. As the company name “Triode” suggests, this design embodies the essence of triode tube amplification. It delivers a sublime vacuum tube sound that blends the exquisite tonal richness unique to triodes with the commanding presence and power of the 845 tubes.
Powerful Power Supply with 1kV High Voltage Delivery
At the heart of the power section is a large toroidal transformer, engineered to ensure stable and efficient energy delivery. For rectification, we employ SiC Schottky barrier diodes, known for their superior response characteristics and minimal loss. This robust design ensures a stable 1kV high voltage supply to the 845 tubes, reliably producing a powerful output of 22W + 22W.
High-Fidelity Electronic Volume Control
This model features a high-precision, audiophile-grade electronic volume control from the renowned MUSES series by Nisshinbo Micro Devices. By positioning the volume control close to the input stage, the signal path is significantly shortened. This design dramatically reduces crosstalk, enhances channel separation, and minimizes the interference of noise—enabling exceptionally pure and precise signal transmission.
Robust and Elegant Aluminum-Finished Chassis
A newly developed chassis combines a rigid steel base with beautifully crafted black hairline-finished aluminum panels, offering both strength and aesthetic sophistication. Compared to its predecessor, the JUNONE 845S, the chassis depth has been extended by 8 cm, allowing for an ideal internal layout that minimizes signal interference between components. This enhanced structure not only improves performance but also ensures rock-solid support for the unit’s substantial weight.
Large, Easy-to-Read Display
A large, centrally positioned display is integrated into the front panel, providing excellent visibility from anywhere in the room. It clearly shows volume levels and input selection status at a glance. The display also features an automatic dimmer function that gently reduces brightness after operation.
Effortless Bias Adjustment
Bias adjustment is made simple and intuitive with a built-in bias meter and adjustment knobs conveniently located on the top panel of the chassis. Users can easily fine-tune the bias while monitoring the meter, ensuring optimal performance of the vacuum tubes.
Usable as a Power Amplifier
By switching the MAIN IN selector on the rear panel to the MAIN IN input, the display changes to indicate “POWER,” bypassing both the input selector and volume control. This allows the unit to function purely as a power amplifier, offering greater flexibility in system integration.
Premium Remote Control with Full Functionality
The included remote control, carved from solid aluminum for a luxurious feel and substantial weight, allows full control of key functions including power ON/OFF, volume adjustment, mute, and input selection—delivering both convenience and elegance in daily operation.
