Triode TRZ-P300W Power Amplifier
300B class A parallel single ended stereo power amplifier
The foundation of Triode’s history began with the VP-300BD, a 300B Class-A parallel single-ended integrated amplifier sold from the company’s founding in 1994 until 2016. The TRZ-300W, released in October 2019, succeeded this legacy with a design based on the same 300B Class-A parallel single-ended configuration. The TRZ-P300W, introduced here, is a power amplifier redesigned from the TRZ-300W platform. It delivers the musical richness of directly heated triode tubes along with the dynamic driving power of a parallel single-ended circuit.
Class-A Parallel Single-Ended 300B Circuit
This amplifier uses a Class-A parallel singleended circuit that fully brings out the charm of directly heated triode tubes while delivering ample output—20W + 20W (8Ω)—to drive a wide variety of speakers.
Robust Power Supply Supporting Graceful Yet Powerful Sound
Equipped with a large toroidal power transformer, the amplifier uses SiC Schottky barrier rectifier diodes for their fast response and low-loss characteristics. This results in a highly efficient, powerful, and responsive power supply system.
Easy Bias Adjustment
The TRZ-P300W is equipped with a bias meter and adjustment knobs, allowing users to easily fine-tune the bias while visually monitoring the levels.
Triode Hum Cancelling (THC) Circuit
Traditionally, directly heated triode amplifiers required manual adjustment using a hum balancer to reduce hum noise. This unit incorporates Triode’s original THC (Triode Hum Cancelling) circuit, eliminating the need for such manual adjustments.
Use of High-Quality Components
For coupling capacitors, AMTRAN’s AMCS oil capacitors are used, featuring high-purity squalene oil, brass casing, and gold-plated OFC lead wires.
Beautiful Stainless Steel Chassis and Aluminum Top Plate
The amplifier features a striking, elegant design, combining a polished stainless steel chassis with a solid black hairline-finished aluminum front panel and gloss-black painted large transformers. The top of the transformers is fitted with an 8mm-thick precision-machined aluminum plate to reduce vibration and enhance heat dissipation.
